Are you an adult recreational, college, or high school athlete? Do you play a sport on a regular basis where you want to perform at your best and minimize the risk of injury? Most adult athletes are "weekend warriors" - they play their favorite sport one or two times a week and try to go 100%. Unless you keep your body in the best possible shape, you are at risk of injury and you will not play to your ability.
As our bodies age, we are perfectly capable of continuing to play our favorite sports, but it takes us longer to warm up, prepare to play, and to recover from a game or practice.I am fully aware of the importance of conditioning for sports. As a middle-aged athlete, I have played lacrosse and I continue to play ice hockey as a goaltender. Goaltender is a demanding position physically because you are on the ice for the full 60 minutes going up and down to make saves. It is important for me to condition my body to reduce the risk of injury and so I can continue to have fun playing hockey. I fully intend to be playing in an over-60 division some day!
High school and college athletes need to prepare for their season. Many believe that if they play their sport year-round that that is enough to keep them in shape. What happens is you become sport-specific. If you want to be a true all-around athlete AND excel in your chosen sport AND minimize the risk of injury, you MUST be properly conditioned. If you plan to play your sport in college, all college coaches are looking for all-around athletes, not just someone who has played one sport year-round.
I will work with you to help you prepare for your favorite sport. Athletes that I have worked with have played in the following sports but I am not limited to these sports:
| Ice Hockey | Lacrosse | Soccer | Men's & Women's Rugby |
| Skiing (Alpine & Nordic) | Field Hockey | Golf | Baseball |
| Softball | Distance Running | Basketball | Football |
| Death Race | Tough Mudder | Warrior Dash | Renegade Playground |
